    Refund and Payment Policy Agreement

October 4, 2022

Appalachian Life Rituals ( A.L. Rituals) value its clients, even more so during a life event such as your wedding.
This Refund and Payment Policy ("Policy") will help you understand how we provide reasonable accommodation to our clients while protecting
our financial investment and security. Our policy will also define in detail how we will honor our commitment to excellence while
not only meeting but exceeding, the needs of our clients.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy at any given time. If you want to make sure that you are up to date with
the latest changes, we advise you to frequently visit this page.

This Policy applies to Appalachian Life Rituals, and it governs any and all funds received by us. Through the use of
www.appalachianliferituals.com, you are therefore consenting to the refund procedures expressed in this Policy.
Please note that this Policy does not govern the collection of funds by companies that Appalachian Life
Rituals do not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by us. If you visit a website that we mention or link to, be
sure to review its refund policy before providing the site with payment. It is highly recommended and suggested that you
review the privacy and refund policies of any website you choose to use or frequent to better understand the way in
which websites collect, transfer, or apply fees on funds collected.

Specifically, this Policy will inform you of the following
1. What payment options are available to you;
2. The security procedures in place to protect your credit card information.
3. Packages, add-ons, and fees.
4. The terms under which we would process a refund for services reserved or provided;
5. The terms under which we would process a refund for products purchased;
6. The timing for the process of refunds;

Payment Options Available
Currently, we offer access to online payments to be made via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
For services, we also offer Point-of-Sale payments and cash to be made in person. Personal Checks, Cashier's Checks,
and Money Orders are accepted as long as payment is received at least 14 days prior to the event.

Security

Appalachian Life Rituals takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website,
your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (e.g. credit card information),
that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address
bar and looking for "HTTPS" at the beginning of the address of the webpage. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information
transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees
who need the information to perform a specific job
(for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally
identifiable information. The computers and servers
in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a
secure environment. This is all done to prevent any loss, misuse,
unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification of the user's
personal information under our control. The company also uses
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for authentication and private communications to build users' trust and confidence
 in the internet and
website use by providing simple and secure access and communication of credit cards and personal information. In addition,
Appalachian Life Rituals is a licensee of TRUSTe. The website is also secured by VeriSign.

Fees
Services provided or reserved are subject to deposits to hold the date of the event and to cover any preparatory work
that the officiant may need to do prior to the event. Unless otherwise specified, deposits are equal to 33% of the total
fee as calculated at the time of the reservation. Since services can be updated or changed, additional deposits or fees
may be added to the original amount quoted for packages or individual services.

Appalachian Life Rituals plans to
offer its own brand of homemade products on our website. Until that comes to fruition,
we are using several third-party vendors as a source of products. Each vendor has its own policy regarding a time frame
for fulfillment and shipping times. All products purchased from our online shop may be subject to state and local sales tax
associated with the billing address provided at the point of purchase. All state and local laws regarding the collection of
sales tax are strictly followed. We provide free shipping to all 50 states. We do not conduct business internationally.

There is a $37.50 fee for returned payment items such as checks, ACH transactions, or money orders. You will have 14 business
days to bring your balance current. We will send your current balance via the US Postal Service via certified mail. After 14
business days with no resolution, we will file a criminal complaint with the appropriate court or law enforcement agency against
the PAYOR as listed on the original form of payment. The PAYOR will be held liable for all additional court fees, legal
expenses, and fees incurred for a legal resolution.

Refunds for Services
Appalachian Life Rituals understands that sometimes things happen and life doesn't quite go according to plan. Our Refund
Policy for services takes this into account while still protecting our investment in the planning of your event. As such, in the event
of a cancelation funds received by us for services are refunded based on the following criteria:
1. All funds (including deposits) paid to Appalachian Life Rituals up to fourteen (14) days prior to the date of your event are refundable less
any time billed at $50.00 per hour (billed in 15-minute increments) towards the planning of the event. This includes time spent on Zoom meetings,
preparation of the sermon, or planning of the ceremony itself.
2. A cancelation made within 14 days but no less than 24 hours' notice of the event forfeits the deposit. All other funds paid are
refundable less any time billed at $50.00 per hour (billed in 15-minute increments) towards the planning of the event that the
deposit does not cover. This includes time spent on Zoom meetings, preparation of the sermon, or planning of the ceremony
itself.
3. A cancelation made with less than 24 hours' notice forfeits any funds paid to date up to 50% of the total bill including packages, add-ons,
or other fees. EXCEPTION: If any member of the bridal party or the engaged couple's immediate family is diagnosed with COVID-19, any
immediate life-threatening or terminal disease, or an injury that requires an immediate hospital stay, Appalachian Life Rituals will waive
the 24-hour notice requirement. In such cases, the rules under criteria "1" under "Refunds for Services" will apply.
4. Clients may purchase Cancelation Insurance for a non-refundable $25.00 fee that will allow cancelation within any time frame and for
any reason and receive a full refund of all funds paid except for the fee for the insurance.

Refunds for Products
Appalachian Life Rituals guarantees satisfaction with every product we offer regardless of the policy of the vendor used
for fulfillment. In the event a client is dissatisfied in any way, we will promptly arrange for the return of the product. Once the
product has been received by our vendor, or by us in the event the vendor's policy prevents a return, we will immediately
process a refund. Shipping times for returns can vary. Please allow up to 14 business days for the return to be received.

Timing
Once a refund has been processed by us, please allow 5 - 7 business days for the credit to appear back on the original
form of payment. If payment was received by check, we reserve the right to make sure the check has cleared your bank
before issuing a refund. Once that has been verified, we will issue a refund in the form of a check and mail it to your
address on record. Payments made via cash will also be refunded in the form of a check.

Acceptance of Terms
