Appalachian Life Rituals was founded in 2022 on the belief that in today’s constantly changing world, more and more people are looking for alternatives to traditional or religious wedding ceremonies. At Appalachian Life Rituals, we work hard to offer personalized marriage officiation with convenience and transparency. We understand the difficulty of juggling the demands of daily life, that’s why we’re committed to making the process affordable, convenient, and easy; the Appalachian way. Our wedding officiant is David L Shaffer (pictured at right.) He has been ordained with Universal Life Church and Monastery (see link below) since 2007. We are registered with the State of West Virginia and Ohio as an officiant. We also offer in-person Notary services.
